The lower hemisphere from a post medieval (c. 1600-1800) cast copper alloy spherical bell (crotal). The bell has a sunburst pattern formed from incised lines and there is a makers mark of a 'T' or hammer within a circular cartouche.

A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy lozenge-shaped stud or tack. The stud has a central flower formed from pellets and trilobe terminals at each external angle. The reverse is plain and the single attachment spike is missing. A similar example is illustrated in Read; Metal Artefacts of Antiquity Vol 1 (2001) p32 No. 249 which he assigns a 15th early 16th date. Dimensions: Length 24.5mm; weight 2.78g
