A Post Medieval uniface lead alloy token. The token has two raised back-to-back 'C's on the obverse with a line between, a design that could represent a degraded lis; Powell type 4. The reverse is plain. Leaden tokens were used for a variety of purposes. These ranged from small change, to checks and tallies for services rendered such as hop picking. They were in use from the Medieval period into late Post-Medieval. A post medieval (16th century) cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. The fitting has a trapezoidal plate with a V-shaped notch in the upper edge and a small circular perforation below the 'V'. A Post Medieval bi-face lead alloy token. The token is decorated with a raised central cross on one side with inverted 'V's'in each angle, Powell type 14. The design on the reverse is illegible. Leaden tokens were used for a variety of purposes. These ranged from small change, to checks and tallies for services rendered such as hop picking. A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy lozenge-shaped stud or tack. The stud has a central flower formed from pellets and trilobe terminals at each external angle. The reverse is plain and the single attachment spike is missing.
