Post Medieval gold mourning ring. The outer band has cast decoration in the form of a skeleton lengthwise around the band. The inside of the band is inscribed IN THEE MY CHIOYCE Y DOE REIOYCE followed by the makers mark I.W. The ring is slightly misshapen. It has an external diameter or 19.03mm, an internal diameter of 15.59mm. The ring was discovered approximately 20 years ago, while gardening.
