Body sherd of a thick-walled coarse ware vessel. It is grit-tempered and finished with a black slip on the outside. The fragment which survives is off the upper part of the shoulder where it meets the neck. Due to thickness and fabric it is likely that this comes off an Iron Age vessel.

Foot of cast cu-alloy early Roman brooch dating from ca. AD50-100, probably from a Polden Hill type. Only the foot and rest for pin survive. The foot ends in a small moulded head stud and the upper body/bow is much thicker than the foot plate. The pin rest is curved and its underside decorated with three bundles of two grooves each.
