An incomplete cast copper alloy and gilded mount of Post-Medieval seventeenth century date (AD 1600 – AD 1700). Length: 24.8mm; width: 17.3mm and 9.0mm thick. Weight: 3.53g. The mount is lozenge-shaped in plan and is slightly convex at the front and slightly concave at the rear. At the front it is decorated with a border of pellets which encloses a pattern of informal lines of similar pellets. The rear face has two integral spikes on the longitudinal centre-line. Incomplete Post Medieval mount or fitting. The artefact is rectangular in plan, with moulded collar before a circular terminal. It is domed with a hollow reverse. The reverse has an integrally cast prong with a square cross section. It has an even mid green patina. The break is worn. It is 27.17mm long, 10.71mm wide, 1.07mm thick 2.95mm deep. The prong measures 4.15mm by 2.22mm and is 23mm long. Weight 3.73 grams.

A probable medieval mount, copper-alloy and roughly circular in shape c26.66mm in diameter. The front face has a flatter outer part and a raised circular boss divided into four quarters, each quarter holds a blue enamel. The flatter outer part has gilding and three circular rivet holes, one of which has a copper-alloy rivet in situ. The back face is hollow and both faces have active powdery green corrosive products.
