A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix, dating to the Medieval period, between AD 1250-1400 (length: 28mm; diameter at base: 19mm; width at suspension loop: 9mm; thickness at loop: 5mm; weight: 10.2g). The seal matrix has a circular base with a protruding hexagonal stem, which terminates in a moulded suspension loop at the opposing end.
