A complete copper-alloy book clasp of Howsam type A.4.2, and medieval in date. The object is rectangular and flat with a cast front plate and a sheet back plate. It measures 21.19mm in length and 14.21mm in width.
The cast front plate has a integral hook projecting from the centre of one end. Directly behind this, in the centre of the clasp, is a separately made upward-projecting loop, riveted in place with an integral rivet which passes through both plates. A complete copper-alloy bar mount with loop, most likely to be of medieval date. Rectangular in shape two parallel plates, each with two corroded iron rivets through them terminal in a loop from which a pendant or other items could have been hung whien the mount was attached to a belt. It measures 30.96mm in length and 7.15mm in width, it is 13.72mm in width across the loop.

A complete copper-alloy terminal from a medieval hinged book-clasp. It measures 38.49mm in length and 19.10mm in width.
It is roughly D-shaped or sub-rectangular, and the attachment end has two projecting lugs. Corroded iron remains can be seen around these, and originally an iron hinge bar would have passed through the lugs and the folded end of the sheet plate of the book-clasp, holding the two components together. A cast copper-alloy late Roman 'amphora-shaped' strap end, in the study by Bishop and Coulston (1993, 175, fig 126, no 7), these types are associated with fourth century Dominate belt-furniture. This is a large example and is complete apart from one fragment of the handle area of the amphora which is missing due to an old break. It measures 75.95mm in length and 29.35mm in width.

A complete cast copper-alloy decorative mount most likely to be early medieval in date. This mount has one rectangular end and the rest of it is a pointed oval shape, the mount curves upwards towards the pointed terminal when viewed in side profile, it measures 38.38mm in length and 16.12mm in width. An incomplete early medieval circa 6th-7th century cast buckle plate. The plate is sub-circular or D-shaped in form and measures 43.98mm in width and 47.02mm in length. A complete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date with D-shaped frame, and folded sheet plate, the pin is missing. The frame is 34.31mm in width and 20.58mm in length, the outer edge is expanded and has a moulded pin rest in its centre, the bar is offset and narrowed. The folded sheet plate is rectangular in shape and measures 30.91mm in width and 19.54mm in length. It is recessed and has a rectangular pin slot.
