Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: Greater London Authority

A complete silver cufflink consisting of two convex discs, each with a looped shank soldered on the reverse, joined by an oval loop of silver wire. The discs are of beaten silver sheet and the shanks and loop of wire circular in section.
The upper surface of each disc has a central engraved letter, giving the initials P and H. There are marks stamped into the reverse of the discs. These are indistinct but probably the same maker's mark on each, possibly including the letter K.
The style and lettering suggest an eighteenth century date, possibly up to the nineteenth century.
