A copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century bar mount. Measuring 20.6mm in length and 8.6mm in width at its widest central point. This bar mount has rectangular arms and a central knop with a perforation 4.7mm in diameter. The arms have tiny circular holes through their terminals,. [these holes may be sewing holes rather than rivet holes due to their small size] A central longitudinal ridge runs along each arm and either side of this there are small opposing transverse grooves. The back is flat.
