An incomplete cast copper-alloy lozenge-shaped strip brooch with remains of gilding and iron corrosion on the back, dating to the late 8th/ early 9th century AD (length: 90.7mm; width: 66mm; thickness of plate: 1.6mm; weight: 30.23g). At the top of this flat plate brooch, there is a large slightly extending area of iron corrosion, where the iron spring was situated. The object is T shaped and consists of a central human face flanked by two shafts which would have terminated in suspension loops. the lower shaft is triangular in form and emerges from the base of the face and may also have held a fitting.

The clasp is rectangular in form and cross section and is made up of three rectangular plates which are joined by two narrow rounded shafts with linear grooves. Each rectangle has a semi-circular pierced sewing loop and the central one has a small rectangular curved catch. The object is of Hines's Form B12.

An Early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) copper alloy strap end (9th century). The strap end is a Class A type with an open end, convex sides and zoomorphic terminal (Thomas 2003:2). There is some damage and the edges of the open end are missing. Within the central panel is carved decoration with inlaid niello. Middle Early Medieval gilded copper alloy disc headed pin fragment, part of head and part of shaft only, 8th or 9th century. The pin head has chip carved scroll decoration, apparently based around C-scrolls. Gilding survives in the incised lines. An Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper alloy pin (AD720-850). The head is biconical with the upper half flattened in shape so that it gently curves. At the junction between the head and the shaft is a collar (a raised rib). Approximately one-quarter down the length of the shaft it sharply bends. This was probably done in antiquity to hold it in place in hair or clothing. The shaft has a circular cross section with a diameter of 1.95mm. The tip is broken and missing.
