Copper-alloy purse bar of LMMC type A1, with an oval suspension loop and a central block in the shape of a shield. There are two incised lines in the shape of a cross on one side of the central block, but this pattern has been disrupted by an oval casting flaw. The central block is drilled and fitted with a swivelling oval loop which is lozenge-shaped in cross-section; the top of the loop has fractured and there is about 1 mm of the metal missing. Copper-alloy horse-harness pendant in the shape of a shield with traces of red enamelling around the upper edges of the pendant which have not been bent; otherwise the patina is brown with patches of green, but no active corrosion product; the surface is too worn to make out any detail and the point of the shield has been bent over so that the bottom of the pendant is rounded; the suspension loop is circular in profile and complete. 13th - 15th century.

Three sherds of Roman pottery. Two are decorated rim sherds and one is a plain body sherd. The two rim sherds join together and the breaks are old. Length (when joined together) 78mm, width 111mm and 8mm thick. Weight of both sherds 102.56g. The body sherd is 32mm in length, 39mm wide and 7mm thick. Weight 11.58g. The breaks are old on this sherd. All three sherds are heavily tempered with fine rounded sand quartz and may belong to a single vessel. An incomplete trumpet brooch (length: 49.8mm; width (at head): 11.5mm; thickness/ depth: 27.2mm; weight: 8.65g). The head of the brooch is slightly splayed and open with the central lug still attached at the back. The top of the bow is highly arched and becomes slightly more narrow before reaching a moulding with three worn transverse ridges. The protruding button beneath the ridges has short longitudinal grooves. These seem to contain possible remains of red enamel, particularly on the left side. An incomplete copper-alloy openwork clapper bell. Roughly half of this bell survives; the other half is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The surviving side of the bell has been squashed and is distorted, but enough survives to show that the bell was originally domed, with curved sides. The body of the bell is decorated with three openwork triangles, one lower larger one in the centre (apex up) and a smaller one to either side (apex down).
