A collection of 16 sherds of wheelmade post-medieval pottery weighing (collectively 90g). The sherds are so fragmentary it is difficult to see any defining features. All of the sherds appear to be post-medieval in date, dating from circa 1700 - 1900. Six of the sherds have been glazed. A small rim sherd (weighing just 3.7g) has a multi-coloured glaze on both surfaces; this sherd has been salt glazed. The other five glazed sherds are all body sherds. Three of these sherds have a shiny mid reddish-brown glaze (10.3g, 11.6g and 14.7g). Another glazed sherd weighing 4.3g has a dark reddis…

Three sherds of post-medieval pottery. All of the sherds have come from pots, which have been made, on a wheel; all three sherds have a shiny mid-reddish-brown glaze on one surface. The largest sherd is a rim sherd (weighing 49.2g). The rim is large and cumbersome, suggesting that this sherd came from a very large pot. The two body sherds are much smaller (weighing 13.2g and 26.5g). The glaze has crazed. Neither sherd has anymore defining features. These sherds probably date to the 18th-19th century, but were found near to a site of a 'Time Team' Big Dig.

A copper alloy, squarish, double oval framed buckle. A moulded, acorn knop decorates each end of the bar and at the midpoint of the other edges of the frame. Traces of cross hatching can be seen on the cups of two of the acorns. The belt plate consists of an oval-ended strip, with a cut-out for the missing pin.
