Copper-alloy purse bar of LMMC type A1, with an oval suspension loop and a central block in the shape of a shield. There are two incised lines in the shape of a cross on one side of the central block, but this pattern has been disrupted by an oval casting flaw. The central block is drilled and fitted with a swivelling oval loop which is lozenge-shaped in cross-section; the top of the loop has fractured and there is about 1 mm of the metal missing. Copper-alloy horse-harness pendant in the shape of a shield with traces of red enamelling around the upper edges of the pendant which have not been bent; otherwise the patina is brown with patches of green, but no active corrosion product; the surface is too worn to make out any detail and the point of the shield has been bent over so that the bottom of the pendant is rounded; the suspension loop is circular in profile and complete. 13th - 15th century.

Three sherds of Roman pottery. Two are decorated rim sherds and one is a plain body sherd. The two rim sherds join together and the breaks are old. Length (when joined together) 78mm, width 111mm and 8mm thick. Weight of both sherds 102.56g. The body sherd is 32mm in length, 39mm wide and 7mm thick. Weight 11.58g. The breaks are old on this sherd. All three sherds are heavily tempered with fine rounded sand quartz and may belong to a single vessel. Decorated body sherd of Black burnished Ware of Roman date. The breaks are old. Length 55mm, width 52mm and 6mm thick. Weight 21.83g. The sherd is decorated with horizontal wavy lines within a zone defined by an upper and lower horizontal groove. Probably wheel thrown and tempered with fine sand quartz.

A cast copper-alloy unidentified object. This object is shaped like a crown with four points, arranged in pairs opposing eachother. The object is hollow and rectangular in cross-section measuring 17mm by 13mm in size and 9mm in thickness. No parallel could be found for this object but it is most likely to be medieval in date and could possibly be a decorative fitting for a knife or dagger.

A complete hollow copper-alloy ring formed from two halves. This ring is c18mm in external diameter and c8mm in internal diameter. One half of the hoop of this ring is extened with an oval cross-section and has a width of 8mm the other half is not and has a width of 3.5mm. Although no parallel could be found for this ring it is likely to have had a decorative function, hanging from the thinner half of the hoop from a strap, perhaps a harness strap. A collection of 16 sherds of wheelmade post-medieval pottery weighing (collectively 90g). The sherds are so fragmentary it is difficult to see any defining features. All of the sherds appear to be post-medieval in date, dating from circa 1700 - 1900. Six of the sherds have been glazed. A small rim sherd (weighing just 3.7g) has a multi-coloured glaze on both surfaces; this sherd has been salt glazed. The other five glazed sherds are all body sherds.
