1 sherd of reduced fabric with pale orange oxidised surfaces. Coarse temper Coarse tempered fabric containing abundant rounded quartz sand, some grog and occasional larger limestone fragments ( up to 3 mm). It is a fragment of strap handle with alternating stab decorated lines on the outer surface.

An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object, dark brown in colour. This object is 'T' shaped (although as it is unidentified it is not certain that this is how the object would have been orientated originally, for convience it will however be described from this orientation). Hook-piece from a copper-alloy wrist-clasp of Hines's Form B20, consisting of a plate and bar cast in one piece with a shaped rear edge(Hines 1993, 64-45). The clasp-half is roughly rectangular and measures 36mm in length and 13mm in width. It has a moulded straight narrow bar with three pairs of transverse grooves, one at either end and one slightly off centre. An incomplete copper-alloy hook-piece from a wrist-clasp, of Hines's Form B12 (bar only, with perforated sewing lugs). The bar is rectangular; about one-third is missing due to an old break, and the surviving part measures 27mm in length and 14mm in width. The upper face of the bar is decorated with a raised square moulding at the end, then with transverse mouldings and grooves, and then with a raised rectangular moulding in the centre of the bar. An incomplete copper-alloy hook-piece from a wrist-clasp of Hines's Form B18b (bar and plate cast in one piece with knobs or discs along the rear edge). Roughly half of this hook-piece survives, with an old break; it is roughly rectangular and measures 23mm in length and 15mm in width. A complete fine roughly leaf shaped all over worked bifacial point or dagger, measuring 120mm in length and 50mm in width with a thickness of 9mm. The flint is mainly medium grey in colour and merges to dark brown/black at the butt. It is probably a Beaker period/early Bronze Age dagger and is believed most likely to be genuine, however there is a possibility that it could be a Brandon 19th or 20th century product.

A pointed oval shaped lithic implement measuring 145mm in length, 48mm in width and 12mm in thickness. A dark grey/black flint has been revealed by modern chips beneath a medium and dark brown staining, possibly from exposture in river deposits. Bifacial all over soft hammer flaking is present. The tip is not sharp and in relatively freah condition. It is very similar to Upper Paleolithic solutrean points but could also be early Bronze Age or Beaker period in date. A fine sub-cordate handaxe with a transverse sharpening flake. Measuring 158mm in length and 100mm in width with a thickness of 28mm. This handaxe is in rolled condition and is heavily patinated white over a river stained dark brown surface. It is similar to an example from Warren Hill, Mildenhall, Suffolk. It is probably Lower Paleolithic in date.

An irregular flint flake, measuring 64mm in length and 31mm in width at its widest point, it is 8mm in thickness. It has been retouched at a later date along most edges, which includes a notch, there is a possiblility however that this 'retouch' could in fact be modern plough damage. The flake has a mottled blue/white and medium brown patina.
