A fragment of a cast copper alloy socketed axe dating to the late Bronze Age (1100 BC - 800 BC), comprising a corner of the socket. The profile of the socket appears subrectangular and is surrounded by a thick rim with a moulded collar 9.6mm thick which has a triangular cross section. A side loop, 19mm in length, is present on the remaining portion of the side of the axehead and there is a visible casting seam running along it, from the rim to the break.

A complete Early Medieval (Late Saxon) harness fitting, dating from c. AD 1000-1100. In plan the object is slightly concave, and in section it is D-shaped. The object is formed from a central boss from which extend two bars on opposing sides, which terminate in roughly lozenge-shaped perforated loops, making the object symmetrical.
