A copper alloy twopence or Turner of Charles I (1625 to 1649) dating to the period AD 1632 to 1639. Spink 5598 to 5601. The obverse depicts the letter C R below a crown with II in between. The legend is illegible. The reverse is nearly completely illegible however it is just about possible to see a thistle in the centre of the field.
