A worn Post-Medieval copper alloy halfpenny of William and Mary, c. AD 1689-94. Description: Obverse description: Large conjoined cuirassed busts of the king and queen facing right, he laureated and in armour, with long hair, she draped. Obverse inscription: GVILLELMV [S ET MARIA] Reverse description: Completely worn away but likely Britannia seated left. Reverse inscription: Illegible but likely BRITANNIA. Measurements: Diameter: 27.49 mm; Thickness: 2.17 mm and Weight: 9.14 g.
