The face is relatively flat with eyes and nose in low relief on a U-shaped head in very stark relief. Damage below the nose has removed the mouth to the jaw. The stone has weathered, but there is some evidence for defined ears that have not survived. Hair separated into locks or strands by incised/pecked lines runs from the top of the head and down the reverse of the stone for about 100mm. The hair runs longer down the left face of the stone. The base bears two horizontal inscribed lines on the left upper quarter of the panel. These may indicate an arm or wrist, with traces for the hand lost to weathering. Linear tooling on the underside or bottom face indicates that the stone remains fully intact.

The overall surface of the stone has suffered from weathering, probably mostly from ancient times before deposition, and to a lesser extent following its recovery.

The stone is sandstone.

"datefound1":"2005-01-01","datefound2":"2006-01-01
"ruler1":null,"ruler2":null
"numdate1":"43","numdate2":"200

A probable dupondius or as of early Roman date, c. 43-200.

The coin is very worn with an evenly pitted surface. The figurine was also a fitting or fixture rather than a freestanding figurine, as the reverse is flat, and the damage to the figure may be related to its removal from furniture or some other object.

The figure is facing forward, left arm held to the side and bent at the elbow and holding a globe or perhaps the worn head of a lionskin. The right arm was positioned upright in an L-shape and is holding either a thunderbold or the base of a club. Corrosion and damage obscure details of the upper half of the figure, but he may be bare-chested and there is evidence of a toag or some other drapery across the loins and upper legs, and possibly a military skirt underneath the drapery. The legs appear bare, though they have broken at the mid-shin.

The face has straight hair and probably a beard, depicted by small circular curls. The eyes are drop-shaped, and the nose has been flattened.

The head and right forearm are both bent outward/forward, with the shoulders also rolled slightly forward. One leg is twisted inward above the break.

The figure is made in a provincial classical style. The bare chest and likely military skirts under the drapery suggest the figure of Hercules, in which case the figure is holding a club upraised and the head of the lion skin in his other hand.

The reverse is undecorated but is slightly depressed inside the edges.
