A post-medieval to modern copper-alloy crotal bell dating between 1770 and 1813. The bell is spherical and has a square suspension loop. A moulded band runs around the waist. The lower hemisphere is decorated with incised pairs of arched lines, and the base contains two sound holes joined by a channel. The letters W and G are inscribed one either side of the channel. A silver-gilt object, probably a dress-hook or eye (Treasure ref. 2012 T381). The object is cross-shaped, having a circular loop at the top and a scroll-shaped arm curving outwards from the body. At the top of both arms is a small loop. The body expands to a tear-drop shap with a moulded rib on the top. The tear-drop terminates with a collared fleur-de-lis, but it is unclear whether this is incomplete; a hook may have extended from it suggesting it was a hook-piece, however if no hook extended it is probably an eyelet-piece.
