Incomplete undatable silver tabular ingot of irregular trapezoidal cross-section, a straight break is probably not old, to judge by the granular nature of the broken surface. The original edge is convex except where hammering has partly straightened it. The broad faces are very slightly concave. There are several small patches of verdigris, and a small gold-coloured plate-like inclusion has been exposed by the break. A tiny fleck of pink material, probably burnt clay, is lodged in a crack on the edge. Weight 18.58 g. There has been a tendency to date silver ingots with hammer marks to…

Fragment of unidentified object, possibly part of possibly candle-snuffer or suchlike, flat-sectioned ovoid plate broken at both ends, rim along one edge curving upward to vertical triple-ribbed moulding on outer face at possible original mid-point and at least two ribs at break at one end. The dimensions are width 42mm, length >57mm, and height of rim 4mm - 10mm.

Fragment of cast unidentified object, perhaps from a vessel or partly hollow item. All the edges are broken, and the fractures are not recent. Engraved decoration, on the outer face only, comprises straight and curving lines, zig-zags and ladders of oblique lines. The fragment consists of parts of two elongated bosses and the valley between them. Stuart Needham (pers. comm.) suggests that it does not belong to the Bronze Age. 67 x 38mm. Thickness 1.8 - 2.5mm. Weight 30g.
