A lead disc, 26mm in diameter and 6mm thick, weighing 39g. Each face has an image of a Henry II or III voided shortcross penny. Obverse: HENRICVS REX with sceptre Reverse: Voided short cross legend reads cf.: [ ] GNVNAL ON SNOT[ ] The coin has been made using a die ie., it is not a retrograde impression from a real Henry penny. The patina of the lead is a dark grey. A gold pennanular brooch. The panannular frame is 26mm in diameter and 3mm wide. It is decorated with floriate design which appears to have been etched into a wider sheet and then shaped into its current form. The terminals are domed and adorned with filigree (alternate triangles and circles) and topped with a square cut green glass stone which sits atop the dome. the base and green glass have filigree borders. WWI cap badge. The phrase HONI.SOIT.QUI.MAL.Y.PENSE (Evil be to him who evil thinks) is used on several British regimants coats of arms. In this case, the George Cross on the central oval boss represents the Coldstream Guards. This is a rank "pip" for the Coldstream Guards. If bronze or bronze finish it would be for wear in officers' service dress which was introduced in 1902. made by Firmin and Sons Ltd in Birmingham.

A 1920s/30s Art-Deco urn (garden decoration) made from a conglomerate man-made material best termed as concrete. The object stands 230mm high, with an outer diameter of 185mm. The walls of the top of the piece are 32mm thick.The 'cup' is 80mm deep. The base has a diameter of 132mm. The object has been cast in concrete, probably mass produced in a mould. There are no tool or working marks that would be visible had it been carved or ground from stone, even a soft stone such as sandstone. A modern (probably Victorian) forgery of a Civil war era Scarborough, or seige, Shilling. A rectangular flan (30mm long. One edge = 23mm wide. The opposite edge 28mm wide), slightly concave, with a castle and sun stamped into it. Below the castle is stamped an S and an I, representing a value of one shilling. An incomplete cast copper-alloy solid pelta shaped object, probably a modern barrel tap handle. The inside edges of the loops and the outside edge of the main curve are bevelled from a central ridge, due to filing down the casting seams.The central rectangular section has an uneven break. A copper alloy mount, commonly used as horse furniture in the late Georgian and Victorian periods. The mount has suffered some post-depositional damage and so some holes have appeared in the structure. Made from pressed copper alloy sheet (likley to be brass), the edges are scalloped with floral and pellet raised and depressed motif. A cast copper alloy pendant in the shape of an arrow, with two notches taken from either sides. A triangular depression sits at the top of the pendant, where a collar, triangular in cross-section and decorated with cross-hatch grooves. An oval suspension loop sits atop this triangular collar, perpendicular to the axis of the pendant. This pendant is modern, and is modelled on a stylised tribal arrowhead. A complete Modern cast-lead pencil sharpener of 19th century date (c. 1850-c. 1900). The lower part is hollow and cone-shaped to house the pencil. It has a rim at the base and a vertical slot at one side. On the opposite side of the slot there is a raised cartouche or similar feature with the initials SO. The decorative handle end is sub-triangular in plan and pointed in side view. Two scrolls rise from each side of the cone to form a six-sided opening. A fragment of a cast lead strip. A similar object has been recorded on this database WMID-EF3192 and has been interpreted as a plaque commemorating Napolean Bonaparte. Cast into the plaque is decorated with an eagle with wings outstretched, standing left. The Eagle was adopted by Napoleon as his standard, and its presence on this plaque suggests that it held a similar function to the one recorded at WMID-EF3192. The reverse is plain and the object is broken and bent.

A gold finger ring of the type known as puzzle rings. Three inter-linking gold hoops square in section and 1.5mm wide. The hoops are mis-shapen and twisted, but were approximately 20mm in diameter when in its original shape. Similar has been recorded in the Treasure Annual Report 2005/6, (2005 T518), figure 880, page 171, and reported on by Judy Rudoe. The lead mechanism and hammer for a 19th century toy gun. The trigger is fixed into place by corrosion.The whole object is 42mm long and 32mm wide. It is 7mm thick. The handle is missing, as is the barrel. A small portion of the trigger remains in place, corroded into the casing. two iron rivets hold the two halves of the casing together. In good condition with a cream patina. Toy pistols of this date usually fired matches.

An almost complete machine made thimble of post-medieval to modern date. Slightly squashed at the base, with a diameter of 15mm. 21.5mm high. 11 grooves run around the base of the thimble, alternately plain and vertically grooved. the upper half of the thimble has diamond shaped depressions. The top, domed surface is plain, apart from concentric grooves showing that the thimble is machine made. There is a circular hole 4mm in diameter. The hole has been deliberately cut out, rather than caused by wear.
