A Greek copper-alloy coin (uncertain denomination), minted in Syracuse, Sicily, between 317 BC and 289 BC, during the reign of Agathocles. Ref.: Seaby no. 1339 (Plant 1979: 81, no. 1339). Traces of an unidentified black substance are also visible on the surface and there is a casting sprue. Dimensions: 20.9mm diameter, 2.9mm thick. Weight: 5.57g.
