A large fragment of a 5th century copper alloy scabbard mount with silver inlay, decorated in the Quoit Brooch Style. The inner face of the mount suggests a high tin content.
Just over half the mount survives and is curved to fit the mouth of the scabbard. The main decorative element is a band 15.42mm wide which originally contained five roundels. The second roundel from the left, and probably the missing fifth, have been inlaid with a silver foil. Incomplete Roman copper alloy and enamel zoomorphic plate brooch missing its (iron) pin. It measures 26.08x10.11x1.5mm (thickness excluding catchplate, etc) and weighs 2.8g.
The brooch is rectangular in form depicting what looks like a running dog or hare. The body of the animal is proud of the background which has traces of red enamel. Running all the way around the edge of the rectangular plate is a raised boarder. The reverse side of the brooch is flat and undecorated.

A complete cast medieval copper alloy strap clasp. It has a plain rectangular frame with a projecting oblong integral attachment with a vertical ridged collar. There is a small semi circle knob coming from the widest part of the frame It measures 37.16 x 22.39 x 3.94mm and weighs 7.1g.

A late medieval / early post medieval iron key, in a state of corrosion. It measures 91.87mm in length and the bow is the widest part at 37.54mm. It weighs 21.7g.
The bow is diamond in shape and c.36mm high. Its internal measurements are 25.7x24.8mm.
The stem is rectangular in section and c.9mm in diameter. It is not apparently hollow.
The bit which only a small part survives measures 15.7x6.66mm. This Key is extremely corroded and damaged. It is now a light grey beige colour with corrosion.
Probably 15th/ 16th century in date.

A cast copper-alloy openwork 'Lyre' shaped strap-end of late-medieval date. It measures 44.37x28.36 (narrowest) 36.73(widest) x3.31mm and weighs 15.0g.
The strap and is sub rectangular in form. At the top there is evidence of an old break at which it is possible that there would have been a box chape where the strap end would have been fastened by a single rivet to a belt or such like. The centre is divided by a central column into tear drop shapes either side. An incomplete Medieval (1200-1400) copper alloy buckle plate, consisting of the upper plate and one arm only. It measures 30.23x18.23x1.80mm. It weighs 4.2g.
The buckle plate depicts a possible repoussé dragon (with four legs, forked tail and wings) facing left. The head in profile has a single pointed ear framed on either side by the angles of the wings. The background has stripes of rocker-arm decoration (possibly part of the wing decoration). One forelimb has three toes. A corroded but complete copper alloy, possible early medieval dating to the 12th Century harness pendant. It measures 31.12mm in diameter and weighs 4.2g.
The loop, which is turned through 90 degrees with a circular perforation, is 8.9mm by 6.88mm. Laid on a flat surface the circular in slightly convexed. It is plain on both surfaces not traces of gilding or decoration.

A complete medieval copper alloy single loop oval buckle with gilded plate. It measures 37.75x25.33x2.27mm and weighs 6.7g.
The buckle frame is oval in form, the curved side of the buckle frame widens slightly towards its centre, and the bar is narrowed and offset. The pin consists of a strip of metal triangular in shape with a rounded point, wrapped around the bar and remains in situ. The frame is greenish in colour with a three line of zigzag horizontal lines. The pin in light brown in colour and is 16.70mm in length and 3.76 in width at its widest point.

A single-looped cast copper-alloy buckle of possible late medieval to early post medieval date (1400-1600), incomplete in as much as it is missing its pin. The frame itself measures 34.04mm x19.38mm x 3.06mm (internal 24.71mmx8.77mm) and weighs 5.4g.
The buckle is of oval form and slightly pinches in towards the centre, with an offset and slightly narrowed pin bar. The lower surface is flat. It has a 'V' shaped protruding knob centrally placed. The buckle remains a mid-green patina with patches of off white corrosion.

A corroded and bent cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of medieval to early post-medieval date, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. It measures 28.57mmx19.81mmx2.19mm and weighs 1.8g.
The frame is formed of two conjoined 'D' shapes, the lower surface is flat. The pin bar has a triangular cross-section. One of the loops has been bent downwards and is twisted slightly.

A corroded copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of medieval to early post-medieval date, complete with pin corroded into place. Measures 24.63mmx20.71mm2.64mm and weighs 4.2g.
The frame is formed of two conjoined ovals. The frame is bevelled both internally and externally; the lower surface is flat as is the top. The pin bar is triangular cross-section and has the corroded remains of the pin in-situ stretching out to the right hand side loop. It now remains a mid-green colour with patches of off white corrosion.

A slightly corroded but complete Medieval (c.1300-1400) copper alloy annular buckle and pin, measuring 42.52mm diameter, (internal 33.9mm) and weighing 18.4g.
The pin is worn but complete. Its upper edge is domed and decorated with a 2.8mm wide transverse rib below the loop. It measures 4.61mm wide and tapers slightly towards the 'point' end which is bent upwards slightly (3.18mm wide). The patina, where it survives, is smooth and shiny.

A worn and extremely corroded and bent 16th-century copper-alloy post-medieval 'rose / orb' jetton, unsigned. Due to the Annulets at the tips these are considered fairly early in date, AD 1500-1585, rose/(orb) type (possible, fictitious legend), struck at Nuremberg.
The jetton has been folded in two such that only the obverse is visible.
Measures 24.94mmx13.82mm and weighs 1.5g.
