Fragment, candle-snuffer and handle. Ornate baluster-moulded shaft, terminating in rectangular plate. The plate is decorated with a cast lion's head motif in high relief, with stamped trefoil plant motifs in each corner, and 'rocker-arm' border. Filing marks on reverse surfaces, and five elliptical stamps on reverse, perhaps as a trial for upper surface decoration.
