Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, cracked and broken flat rectangular mount with four rivet holes (three broken). The front is engraved with a black-letter n reserved on a rocker-arm field set within a frame. 33 x 25mm. Thickness 0.6mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 1050. Second half 14th century.
