A fairly large flat rectangular hook plate clasp with an integrally made rectangular hook and one of the short ends; the other short end flares at both sides and has a fluted edge; there are two horizontally aligned rivet holes at the flared end, one of which still contains a small fragment of iron rivet; there are two further holes along the central line of the clasp, one approximately 1/3 of the distance between the flared end and the hooked and the other 2/3, this hole is undecorated, but the other 3 each have incised decoration of one or two concentric circles; in addition, 3 engraved lines run from each of the two rivet holes at the flared end to the outer edge of the concentric circles decorating the first hole on the central line. There is a panel of 3 roughly engraved zigzag lines at running transversely across the hook end. The metal is quite cupric.
