Partly squashed medieval cast copper alloy heavy-duty domed thimble with two notches in the base and a circumferential groove above the base. All of the surface, apart from a small round ptch in th centre of the dome, is covered by a spiral of small round indentations. Diameter c.21mm. Height 20mm. Weigth 14.85g. 15th century.
