A silver shilling probably of William III, possibly intended to be a love token. Reverse: [ ]; crowned cruciform shields.
Obverse: [GVLI]ELMVS III [DEI GRA]; laureate bust right.
The coin is worn and has been bent this may suggest that it was re-used as a love token. However it has not been bent into the typical S-shape and therefore it may also be post-depositional damage.
