Copper alloy single D-shaped loop buckle of Medieval date. The upper surface is convex with bevelled inner edges. The outer edge is wider, the reverse is flattened and it is sub-oval in section. Seven lateral grooves are across the centre of the outer edge and the fourth groove is slightly deeper (?to take the pin). The bar is offset, narrowed and D-shaped in section. (W. 1.92mm. Th. 1.58mm). The pin is missing. Patchy dark green patina.
