Copper alloy single oval loop buckle of Medieval date. The frame has a bevelled inner edge with a thicker outer edge that has two moulded lobed knops flanking a constriction for the sheet roller, which is plain. The reverse is flattened and sub-rectangular in section. The bar is offset, narrowed and sub-square in section (W. 1.66-1.37mm. Th. 1.69-1.41mm). The pin is missing. Patchy mid-green patina.
