A roughly cast piece of metal with a half-moon shaped 'handle' which is sub-circular in section and appears to have been broken off possibly from a loop, the top of which is missing; from the middle of the crescent the object expands to form a rough 'neck' which is quite thick and very unfinished; this flares again into a slightly convex 'plate which has been broken off the underside of which is very pitted.
