Small cast copper alloy Roman brooch. It is T-shaped, with short wings. Attached to each end of the wing is a small lug, which the spring would have fixed to (now lost). The wing has a curved section and it may be that the pin hinge would have been visible and so a feature of this otherwise plain brooch.
