Copper-alloy horse-harness pendant in the shape of a shield with traces of red enamelling around the upper edges of the pendant which have not been bent; otherwise the patina is brown with patches of green, but no active corrosion product; the surface is too worn to make out any detail and the point of the shield has been bent over so that the bottom of the pendant is rounded; the suspension loop is circular in profile and complete. 13th - 15th century.
