A complete hollow copper-alloy ring formed from two halves. This ring is c15mm in external diameter and c6mm in internal diameter. One half of the hoop of this ring is extened with an oval cross-section and has a width of 7mm the other half is not and has a width of 2mm. The extended half of the ring is decorated with four petal-like mouldings on both faces and traces of gilding can also be seen.
Although no parallel could be found for this ring it is likely to have had a decorative function, hanging from the thinner half of the hoop from a strap, perhaps a harness strap. It is also most likely to be medieval in date.
