An incomplete cast copper alloy Romano-British terret ring, dating from the late Iron Age or early Roman period, about 100 BC - AD 100. The object would have been oval in plan when complete. The hoop of the object is D-shaped in cross-section. At one end of the hoop is an oval collar before the object narrows in thickness forming a rectangular bar. Each end of the terret is incomplete due to an ancient break. It has an olive green patina with a rough and pitted surface.
