Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Harlow brooch, almost all of the spring, the pin, the foot of the bow and almost all of the catchplate missing. The narrow wings are decorated with three grooves near their outer end. At tnhe top of the round-sectioned bow there is a low crest, knurled and with a single transverse groove near the top. Mackreth 2011, CD Ha 3.a1. Wingspan 24.5mm. Extant length 29.3mm. c.43 - c.80 AD.
