Abraded fragment of a post-medieval copper alloy buckle frame, an acorn knop, hollowed on the reverse, with stumps of the sides and of the central bar. The frame was double-looped and the loops oval, cf. Whitehead 2003, no. 406, though no cross-hatched engraving has survived. Extant length and width 17.2 x 16.7mm. c.1500 - c.1650.
