A lead alloy probable nail or rivet of medieval to post-medieval date. the head of the nail is square in plan with a circular sectioned shaft projecting centrally from one face. The shaft is bent over at a 90 degree angle.
The nail is 13.5mm long; the head is 23.2mm long, 19.8mm wide, 5.5mm thick; the shaft is 7.8mm in diameter, and it weighs 23.7g.
