Lead possible tally. Flat semi-circular fragment of thin (0.5mm) lead sheet or foil. A figure of three bars, possibly a letter I with emphasised upper and lower seriffs, appears close to what is presumed to be a neatly broken edge. Patinated overall. The object is thinner than tokens of medieval and post-medieval date, and its function may have been correspondingly ephemeral; dating is suggested by the assumed letter style. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650.
