A cast copper-alloy strap loop of Medieval date. It has an oval frame that is triangular in cross section and has a narrow rectangular bar at the attachment end. At the opposite side of the frame is a rectangular collar from whcih projects a large globular knop. The entire object measures 18.13mm in length, 11.12mm in width, 4.19mm in thickness, and 1.20g in weight. This is a strap fitting or loop of Medieval date with an identical parallel noted from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 1192). It is of probable c.14th century AD date.
