A Post Medieval copper alloy mount, dating to the 17th century. The mount is formed of a central oval section with a smaller circular section on either side at the narrowest point. The object is domed with two integral rivets on the concave underside. A similar mount can be found in Read (2001, no. 307) and dates to the 17th century.
The mount is 42.3mm long, 21.1mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 9.83 grams
