An incomplete Roman copper alloy umbonate brooch. It is flat, circular, and decorated with two bands of triangular cells surrounding a central pellet-in-ring. The bands alternate between recessed enamelled cells and cells of reserve metal. All enamel is lost. A narrow fragment of an additional band was found with it, though it is unclear whether this formed a third band, or whether it is a fragment of a second brooch. The fittings on the reverse are missing.
