A flint retouched flake, possibly a crude arrowhead, of Neolithic to early Bronze Age date (c. 3500 - 1601 BC). The flake is triangular in shape and has been struck off a tertiary flake. It exhibits four negative flake scars on the dorsal surface with pronounced ripple marks. There is also another set of ripple marks at a ninety degree angle to the striking platform. The ventral surface exhibits a diffuse bulb of percussion with concentric ripple marks clearly visible and two bulbar scars. The striking platform is semi-circular in shape. The flake exhibits short abrupt scaled retouch from the striking platform along both mesal edges, towards the proximal end, creating a pointed tip.
The flint is off-white in colour with light grey inclusions. It exhibits a small amount of iron staining at the distal end and along one mesal edge.
The flake measures 33.55mm in length, 20.23mm maximum width, 2.04mm minimum width, is 4.96mm thick and weighs 2.92g.
