Medieval, cast copper alloy strap end made up of two conjoined pieces of sheet metal separated by a further sheet of metal forming a spacer. On the end of the strap end is flat, lozenge shaped, terminal. The upper (open) end of the strap is incurved (concave) and through it is a single, 1.6mm diameter, copper alloy rivet. Width 12.6mm, Length 25.5mm, Thickness 2.6mm, Mass 3.38g. In London strap ends of this form were found in contexts dated to 1270-1400 (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 143, Fig. 94)
