An incomplete, cast copper alloy Medieval harness pendant dating from about AD 1175 - 1400. The body of the pendant is circular and the front is convex, the reverse being concave. There is a flat suspension loop with a circular perforation set at right angles to the edge of the main body. Trace of gilding remain on the body immediately below the suspension loop; all other traces of decoration are now missing. The lower edge of the body is damaged, some small sections being torn away in antiquity and now missing. The remaining portion is 29mm long, 19.7mm wide and 6.2mm thick. It weighs 2.1gm.
