Lower part of the foot and the catchplate of a Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Langton Down brooch. There are three ribs and two grooves on the bow which widens slightly from the break, and the catchplate is pierced by a four-sided aperture, perhaps intended to be triangular. Extant length 21.5mm. Width 5 - 6.1mm. c.25 - c.60 AD
