An incomplete copper-alloy circular ring of Medieval date. Only part of the hoop survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is plain and sub-pentagonal section. The internal face is worn in places. All faces display coarse filing marks from finishing.
This ring measures 40.61mm in length, 20.97mm in width, 5.06mm in thickness, 8.12g in weight.
This ring could have functioned as a harness ring or a crude buckle frame or brooch.
