A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount or stud (c. 1600-c. 1700).
This mount is sub-lozenge shaped in plan, convex at the front and partially concave at the rear. At two opposite ends there is a trefoil knop and at the other two ends there are small rounded knops (one is missing). At the centre are nine evenly spaced pellets in three rows. These may represent a flower head. The rear face has an off-centre tapering spike which is square in cross-section.
The object is green and brown.
