A lead alloy Post Medieval musket ball probably dating from about AD 1600 - 1800. It is spherical with a oblique flat face at the end of the projecting casting sprue. The seam is also visible. The ball has a smooth grey patina. It is 13.31mm diameter and 13.57g. The weight suggests it would have been used in a pistol (Harding (2012) Lead Shot of the English Civil War: a Radical Study.)
