A late Medieval silver groat probably of Edward IV (first reign), Light Coinage dating from AD 1464-1470. Initial mark: Lis. Mint of York. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 87, no. 1583. It is possible that the bust bears the letter 'E' on breast, but this is unclear due to severe circumferential damage.
